 Music for the soul:

Music:

Music moves me! No matter what mood I'm in, happy or sad, the right music can ease me right through a situation, on out to the other side of whatever was goin' on in the moment.

I can get lost in a song and leave my worries behind!

I've always liked music, all kinds actually. Country, Soul, New Thought, Top 40 and now that I'm older, Jazz and New Age!

I was never one of those kids that cared if what I liked was "cool" or not, I just knew what I felt when I heard something and if I loved it, I loved it, even if no one else did. A kid loving Dolly Parton while growing up was not so cool, but I could hear something in her music that was deep and meaningful even when I didn't understand what it was.

Artist like Emmylou Harris, The Carpenter's, Linda Ronstadt are what filled my childhood and gave me peace on the inside.

Was never into drugs or drinking really, but give me some music and I was happy in my own little world.

Music and lyrics have to have meaning to me and not just a beat. I wanna know what someone was feeling when they wrote those words. I wanna be taken to another place while with them on their performace.

Feed me, touch me with your artisty and you have done a magical thing in my book.

The song you hear on my page by Ester Nicholson is one of those songs that moves me! Have you listened to the words? Powerful!

Go have a listen if you haven't been there at www.myspace.com/jmeboy

We were doing a sound check and I was standing near Ester watchin' and I walked up and put my arms around her shoulders to really watch and feel her sing . She turned and looked into my eyes while singing one of the songs from her CD that I love. Time simply stopped!

I will never forget that moment. The voice, the energy of someone that powerful singing just to me, for those few moments. No one else in the room probably felt what I was feeling or even noticed the interaction between us.

I felt her music on a whole different level standing there and I found a friend, and spiritual bond was formed.

What a gift, what a memory! She is remarkable as a singer and as a person as well. I love you Ester!

The video clips I post on my page are also about who I am and what I feel about life! I'm deep baby! What can I say!

Can't imagine a world without music and the expression of the soul through it, can you?

Ahhhhh, thank God for music!

 OLD FRIENDS....

For our 100th Celebration at the Church many of my old friends from "Way of Life Unity Center" in Fort Walton Beach came to be apart of our big day. I spent many years in that church and those times are etched in my heart.
These are just a few of the faces that surrounded me while "growing" up UNITY style.
I have always felt it is very important to remember where you came from, especially if you use it to help you to become a much better person.
Lot of memories..... Some of the people I have loved have passed on in recent years, but the love remains just as strong. Love never dies!

I'm standing in between Larry and Curly... Guess that makes me Moe!

 UNITY Christmas Party 2006!

Church Christmas Party 2006 was a great gathering at a local art bar downtown called "R Place." Was good to get together for an evening of laughter and to celebrate the Holidays.

These people really do make my life a much happier adventure! Look at these faces then wonder why I love my job so much?

 My bestest buddy!

Was sitting around the other evening and looked down at the bundle of fur curled up in my lap and suddenly realized that she is my bestest buddy in the whole world!

Her real name is Molly, but she answers to several other names I find I tend to call her, but no matter what I call her.... She is always there and loves me no matter what! Now who could ask for more?
